RSI MARLA & TONY KULIG SCHOLARSHIP
(For qualified individuals with a disability to attend Minot State University)
Maximum of $1,000 per year (up to 4 years maximum)
Marla Kulig started Rehab Services, Inc. in 1988 to provide employment for individuals with disabilities. She spent most of her adult life in the pursuit of increasing opportunities for people to be included in their community. Tony Kulig was involved in promoting the advancement of people with disabilities in our community through involvement in various community activities. RSI has started this scholarship to honor their commitment as well as support people in furthering their education. Marla and Tony are both strong supporters and graduates of Minot State University.
In order to qualify, an individual must meet the following criteria:
Accepted enrollment into Minot State University (Undergraduate/Graduate or A-Step program).
Proof of participation in school IEP or 504 plan, or an active case with ND Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation. (Proof is required along with this application).
A letter of recommendation from a non-family member (ex: teacher, employer, mentor, etc.)
Completed application form and all required materials are to be sent to RSI - 112 2nd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701.
Applications are due by August 1st.
Scholarship winner will be contacted directly by RSI regarding their award prior to August 15th.
Scholarship award will be paid directly to Minot State University by RSI and will not be awarded directly to the individual receiving the award. Award amount will be paid per semester upon successful enrollment of classes at MSU. Failure to be enrolled in classes or failure to continue to be in good standing at MSU will result in discontinuation of scholarship award.
